The Residences of Downtown Lake Zurich
Downtown Lake Zurich is about to undergo a sweeping revitalization. This quaint
village located 35 miles northwest of Chicago, Illinois will receive a new downtown
retail core along Main Street featuring convenient shops, restaurants, offices,
a bank and beautiful new streetscapes. The Residences of Downtown Lake Zurich will
offer a variety of housing styles, including condominiums situated over the retail
and Cape Cod style townhomes around new landscaped open spaces in the surrounding
areas. The new components will compliment the existing residences and public spaces
to create a dynamic, friendly and modern downtown.
The downtown revitalization is part of a larger master plan for the Village that
was realized with the construction of a new library and police station. The Residences
of Downtown Lake Zurich mark the next step in the vision for the village. Market
Common Communities will first develop The Somerset townhomes. Following closely
will be The Grandview townhomes and condominiums which are part of the signature
mixed-use complex located across from the Promenade.
Phase I - The Somerset
The Somerset is the first phase of the long-awaited planned revitalization of Downtown
Lake Zurich. The Somerset will feature 39 luxury townhomes built along Lakeview
Place with views of Lake Zurich, Breezewald Park and a landscaped courtyard. Exteriors
will be architecturally detailed in a charming Cape Cod style and feature porches
and balconies to further enhance the views. The three-story townhomes will feature
seven different floor plans and will range in size from 1800-2300 square feet. Interiors
will include gourmet kitchens, deluxe master suites and 1-2 car garages. Larger units will feature an elevator option.
Phase II - The Grandview
The Grandview is the featured building of the long-awaited downtown revitalization,
located across from the lakefront Promenade. The first floor will contain signature
restaurants with al fresco dining on the patios. Above will be four floors of condominium
units with lake views. Also included will be 12 townhomes facing Lake Street. All
will be conveniently served by 150 structured garage stalls and 18 on-street parking spaces.
